Is it safe to do stock trading, or log on to your bank account with an iPhone?

    That depends on weather you connection is secure. If the wifi is secure, then the iphone is too

    If you hacked the phone, change your password and turn off SSH.

    It's safe. Or rather, it’s about as safe as using any other smartphone for that purpose. Most financial institutions and online brokerages have websites that are mostly text, with very little graphics, so your interactions are relatively fast and smooth, even with EDGE. Using wi-fi probably depends more on who’s wi-fi service you’re using.
