Two copies of Library

I have discovered that I have two library folders (ouch). Both seem genuine, one is in the normal place at the macintosh HD level (4.5 GB), the other in a subfolder for a course that I teach (5.2 GB) . They are not identical.

Must I keep the two?

Are both used, and thus probably as a result of some inadvertent move on my part?

Thanks all !

You will have a min of 3 Library folders

They are located in the following:

    /Library

    /System/Library

    /Users/yourusername/Library

    These sound familiar?

Can I safely delete the library in my course folder?

As long as you have a copy in each of the three aforementioned places afterwards, and are experiencing no problems, then yes, most likely.
