    Works fantastic BUT don't get an ISDN terminal adapter (some call it modem) instead get a ISDN ROUTER you can find them on Ebay for under $100 and they take the ISDN and turn it into a regular ethernet connection.

    First you don't have to deal with any serial or usb junk (just pure ethernet) AND as a bonus you can share the ISDN connection with any other computers in the area (you might need a hub then).

    This is the one on ebay for $79 bucks:

    And this is the one I have that included a 4 port hub and it's $124.00

    Check around on the prices since I'm not sure if they are the cheapest... I've had mine for quite a while and haven't needed to price shop for one lately...

    Good luck

    thanks for your response...

    so you're saying do not buy one of these:

    <a href="http://www.draytek.com.tw/Vigor/p-miniV128.htm"; target="_blank">http://www.draytek.com.tw/Vigor/p-miniV128.htm</a>;

    it's ? 40.00 in a shop around the corner... (BTW, it's not for me, I'm a happy cable user, but for a potential new iMac user)

    your explanation why to use one of the others is very good, can you or anyone else also explain why he shouldn't buy the ? 40.00 one?

    Thanks

    Hi, Im using the MiniVigor in Ireland for 64K access, or dual channel 128k. It works fine for me via usb and is handy as it can be used with Windows, Linux machines as well. Os X driver isn't very mature yet but I have had no problems so far. Small and cheap too.
