Best way to learn to use Terminal?

This is strictly for geek cred. I have no actual reason to mess around with it other than the fact that I got schooled by a non-Mac user using Terminal on my Mac, and am just feeling a bit envious. I honestly don't know that much about computers though I used to mess around with DOS back when I had a PC in the late 90's.

First, you should decide which shell you want to use then get a book on how to use it. The two most popular shells are ksh (Korn shell) and bash (Bourne-Again shell). I believe the bash shell is the default for Mac OS X, as well as, Linux. If you want "geek cred" then you might want to look at the Z shell (zsh). Below are a few links to get you started.
