Restoring iCal stuff from iPod?

Hi, I just did a clean install with leopard and I tried backing up my iCal information from before, but for some reason it wont load from the file I exported it as. Anyways I wanted to know if theres a way to recover my iCal stuff from my ipod, cause it currently does have everything on it
