Tivo
Hi Folks,
Has anyone been able to get Tivo Desktop software to work on their iMac? I've got a brand new 24" alum iMac that I can't seem to get to work on.
I downloaded the Tivo desktop app off the TIVO website and installed it, however after the "install" the app didn't show up in my applications folder and I can't seem to find it anywhere.
I found a nice TIVO widget created by John Hopper which shows me what's on my box and even allows me to download a video file off my TIVO onto my desktop. The catch is that the downloaded file is a .mpg file. Quicktime didn't want to play it until I downloaded the $20 MPEG-2 codec from Apple. Now the audio plays in Quicktime, however no video.
Any helpful tips would be much'o appreciated!!
