iPod Hifi reloaded
Maybe this is sort of an educated guess, but I'm pretty sure, that
Apple unveils an overhauled and much improved Boombox
in a few days.
The new iPod Hifi looks similar to the original one, but
it has Wifi capabilities and it has decent tweeters build in.
Additionally, if you've got two of them, they automatically
find each other and act as a wide stereo-system. What about that?
Need surround sound? Just buy another one or two, place them
across from the main Boombox. There you go: Surround System.
It is an intelligent music system, that easily talks to each other
and finds each other respectively.

They sell them at the Apple Store too- they're pretty sweet, and the dock is motorized and "sucks" back into the speaker when not in use....they're cool.

Thanks. Nice system. I think I have to listen to them in person.
The streaming feature is nice too, I wish Apple had thought about that
in the first place.
Apple would be ill-advised to revive the HiFi unless they could really inovate in the space. Countless companies already offer similar solutions at far cheaper prices than Apple will likely be able to.
Well time will tell. However I think "countless" is way over the top.
I'd say there are only a few who deliver what they promise.
Bose, JBL, Teufel, Altec, and yes Logictec is catching up, what else?
I can't say anything about Klipsch, because neither I haven't seen
nor heard in person.
I'd love to see an improved iPod HiFi.
