Text input repetition

Here is a good one that I need some help with. Hopefully someone may know the fix. I am working on a Macbook Pro laptop with a major problem. When a name is added into the To field in Mail, any item that is typed after that name is repeated with every keystroke that is pressed. Even the delete key copies what was typed last.



Does anyone know of a fix for this? Thanks ahead of time for your help!

    Restore Defaults to Keyboard Shortcuts in the Keyboard and Mouse Pref Pane?



    Does it do it with all user accounts? With an external keyboard?
