It could increase the number of iPhone sales by tons.

    Considering AT&T has a 5-year contract with Apple to be the sole provider of the iPhone, no.

    Verizon is CDMA, the phone is GSM, and as mentioned above ATT has the contract. Can't imagine you didn't know that as its not exactly private info.
