Finally, a (free) SMB browser

I've not been able to try it out yet, since I don't have any PCs lying around.
But this could be the answer to all the SMB connexion madness we've seen since 10.1.

I tried it out. I had to turn my firewall off to allow it to work but it does appear to work. It is pretty rough though but it is a start and will no doubt only get better.

I would suggest that you turn your firewall back on and enable only the ports that smb needs.

Works like a charm in 10.1.2 and is a bit nicer to work with than Sharity. However I'd like to have that solved by a Finder integrated tool at the default mount point similar to what Sharity implements.
Thanks for the hint and link to that little app.

For testing purposes I turned the firewall off. I tried the program decided I wouldn't be using it again soon and turned the firewall back on. I couldn't be bothered finding what ports had to be enabled just to try the program. If liked it and saw myself using it again in the future I would have made the effort. If someone was able to hack into OS X in the 5 mins the firewall was down I think I would have been extremly unfortunate.
