how much Ram will a Rev A Powerbook 12" eat?

I currently have a Powerbook 12" Rev. A... And yes, I will still use it for work some time.. I have hoped for a new small Macbook Pro.. But the macbook air simply is not good enough. No firewire, and a glossy screen, and a high price tag.. I'd like to have an intel processor for running some windows apps.. But for now, my Powerbook will have to be sufficient.. Now my question is:
Will the Rev. A Powerbook accept a 2GB Ram chip? Officially it supports only 512MB, I know it supports 1GB, but it would really help if it could eat up a 2GB chip!
