Quicktime question

I hope that I posting this question to the right forum. When I go to view anything in Quicktime within a browser, such as the MacBook Air ad, I have to click the link twice. Why? The first time that I click the link the Quicktime movie can be heard, however, there is no display at all. I can only see the Quicktime movie when I click a second time on the link.

    QT has been like this since the 7.3 update. No-one seems to have a definitive answer, but a few suggestions to try HERE. I've given up and switch to Firefox when I need to view mpegs online.
