bootcamp/vista with new mac pro success?
Hi All,
Has anyone had any success with Bootcamp and Vista on one of the new Mac Pros?
I have the new dual 2.8 8 core machine with the ATI Radeon 2600 card. Apple 17" studio display connected via the Apple DVI - ADC adapter.
I've tried using Bootcamp to install Vista. The partition via bootcamp works fine. I insert the Vista Ultimate dvd when prompted and the machine reboots. But then, just a blank screen - dvd spins for a while then stops.
I then tried hooking up a vga display to the mac pro with the supplied dvi - vga adapter. On reboot, i see the Vista progress bar on the screen but then after that completes I get nothing.
Wondering if this is a video card or monitor issue? Perhaps it would work if I had a dvi monitor?
Anyone had any success with bootcamp/vista on the new Mac Pros? Any suggestions?
Neil
