Quicktime update has serious bugs.

There appear to be at least two bugs introduced with the QT 7.4 update.
1) Playback of certain MP4 packaged videos fails. The audio plays, but there is no video. One person on the thread linked above says that its "AVC1" encoded video, specifically, which wont play.
2) Playback (via .srt component plug-in or Perian) of .avi videos with subtitles in a separate .srt file now fails to show the subtitles.
The solution, as explained in the thread with instructions, is to use Pacifier to force a reinstall of QT 7.3.1.
