mail window

I typically have my mail window arranged such that the bottom of the window shows part of the currently highlighted message. Whenever my wife uses my account, the window no longer shows the message content. I always forget just how to get it back. I can't find in mail help. can someone tell me please.

    Look at the very bottom of the window. Do you see a light gray rectangle with a dot in the middle of it?



    If so, click on the dot, hold the mouse button down, and drag it upwards. This should show the message content for you.
