Macbook Air + Parallels question

I ordered an MBA and I intend on installing parallels on it, especially since I need to run certain web-based IE-only programs for my job. Since I already have a XP Virtual Machine on my iMac, I was wondering if I could just install Parallels thru Remote Disc and copy the VM files from my iMac to my MBA, essentially cloning my XP VM onto my MBA. What do you guys think? \

I really don't feel like reinstalling Anit-Virus and all the other stuff I have done on my iMac's XP VM... I think it would be easier to just copy and move the files...

BTW, loooooong time reader, stock holder (250 shares and counting), and Mac addict since my G4 powerbook back in 01!

So, I got parallels running, it was pretty easy + i had no idea Parallels lets you intall windows from a disc image.... that made it easy as heck to do, all i did was transfer the XP image to my MBA over wifi. Quick and easy.

Honestly, there is no use for a optical drive on the MBA... I can transfer anything over wifi or usb key.
