Storing web-pages

Hello Everyone. I have a question.

A friend of mine (PC user) used a program which copies a web-page as well as all sub-pages linked within the main page.

We used it two years ago a road-trip when we wanted to read about up coming locations while we had no connection.

It has been two years, by now there must be any equivalent app for the Mac side.

Does anyone know of any?

Thanks for the suggestion MagicFingers, but while your suggestion of using safari is a good one for a single page, it does work if you want to save many linked pages together.

That is, if I go a website's main page, do a save as Web Archive, then turn off my wireless, then open up the page you saved and click on the main pages linked internal pages, you will get a blank page. It only saves the page you had open when you selected, save as Archive.

Where as, my friend had a program (for PC's) that when you selected save as an Archiv, it will save the main page and all sub-pages within the main page. So that when you long could get on the internet you could open up the main-page and click on the links to sub-pages within the main pages.

He program made it very easy to quickly leave on a road trip. He did Save as an Archive at 3 different web-sites on the location we were driving to and along the way I have pages and pages of information I could read to him; because not only did it archive the 3 pages, it archived all the pages linked and under the main page.

I'll call him up and ask him what program it was that he used at the time. It was very useful. If only it wasn't PC only.
