Is my Graphics card Failing?

Hey It just recently started, I've been duel screening my mac from day one and up untill like a month ago my mac spazzes out once and a while. Polygons just start going crazy on my screen than disappear. Than come back 5 mins later and disappear, I restart and it doesnt come back for sometime, but eventully it will? What's going on.....

    Your graphics card seems fine as the desktop and icons are totally clear and normal looking.



    Which app/s where you using at the time something here will be the cause?

    Umm Safari, iTunes, iChat..... It does that every once and a while.

    Eh, just because some things are unaffected doesn't mean it couldn't be the video card. But, it's also not the GPU for sure. Try running the machine with a different user account. If it still acts up, do you have any other hard drives you could use as a boot drive? Perhaps running the machine from another hard drive would determine if it's a software problem, or a bad GPU/logic board.
