Is it possible to plug a cable into my MacBook and have it send the video out to my television? I want to use Fox On Demand and watch Terminator, but I want to watch it on my 50" TV. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes... there;s a mini-DVI port..... that outputs video. You'll need a cable that will go from the mini-DVI on your MacBook into your TV (HDMI?, VGA?, Component?, Composite?) But since DVI doesn't carry audio, You'll also need to connect from the headphone jack on the computer to the audio in of your TV/stereo.

Yes, you would need said adapter for HD, SD you can get away with the mini>S-video / composite adapter. If you go HD route, unless the files are high quality, it's going to look awful on that set. I've tried hulu.com, is that the one you are using? The quality on that looks OK for my 15" Mac Book Pro, but I wouldn't watch it on anything larger than that, there's quite a bit of artifiacting.

That said, if the set has a DVI connection, the mini>DVI and then a DVI cable. If you only have HDMI, then a DVI>HDMI cable is needed. The MacBook inputs & outputs in optical audio as well (if i remember correctly, the MBP does). So, if your set accepts optical IN, most optical cables I see have the mini adapters with them (the port is the same as the regualar headphone jack, just put the optical plug in that has the mini adapter on it). The sound anyway will be great. Just a regular Mini jack to RCA would work ok...
