iPhoto and ordering prints

Tried this out for the first time yesterday. I selected 24 photos and clicked on the "order prints" button, then the order dialog appeared with "0" prints to order (I expected 24). I changed this to 24 and it updated the $$$ totals. I clicked "order" and then it proceeded to upload a measly 1.5MB for printing....what the? I expected the upload to be 10x that....

My wife printed a huge book that had the last two pages missing when it shipped. So she sent them back and printed again. Missing. Needless to say the printing company was getting pissed.

We had to proof it by "printing" a PDF first and checking the contents. It's the only way to proof it. So I might suggest saving a PDF and seeing what you get. If it looks okay then you have an upload issue. Which is what you expect anyway....

thanks for the feedback, printing a book was going to be my next exercise. I'll see how the individual photo prints go and will post a followup. I'm a little disappointed in the level of software integration and apple need to put some work into improving the user experience.
