Computer Deleting IPOD music

New to the post. I need your expertise from anyone who has experience with IPODS. For the second time when my IPOD is charging up I leave and come back and all the music I have put on it has been deleted for some reason. The IPOD is simply charging. The music is still in my library on my imac, its just deleted on my IPOD so that I have to reload the music back onto my IPOD. Does anybody know why this is happening and how I can avoid this again??? Help

    The iPod might think that it's linked to another library or something... Do you have automatic sync enabled or do you drag stuff over manually?



    I would do a full restore on the ipod, and do an auto sync to a created playlist with songs eg: "manykids ipod". I sync everything to my 80Gb classic, but my wife only has an 8Gb nano, so hers loads from the playlist that's setup. She can update / change / remove anytime, updates when it's plugged in.
