Why hasn't iTunes updated its cover flow so that the albums flip as in the new ipods? That would be cool

    That would be impractical as "flipping" merely causes a tracklist to appear, and the tracklist is already available in iTunes under the Cover Flow window.

    Not necessarily. In full-screen mode, there is no track list, and it's rather difficult to navigate tracks.
