    you think that is bad?

Using UK Apple Store price (EXCLUDING VAT)

    Apple TV (US) = $229

    Apple TV (UK) = $329 - (£169.36)

    Thats $100 difference!!!

That is the only part of south park that is just not damn funny, damnet! 8) Officially I am dual US/Canadian, but my heart lies in British Columbia - and BC is only part of Canada due to a fluke of railway building prowess. If US had gotten there first I would be a full blooded American.

My only real Canadian patriotic feelings came when I saw a beautiful naked woman streak across the Ottawa Parliment lawn, draped in a flag on July 1st. It lasted the rest of the day.

Aren't you supposed to seek immediate medical attention if that lasts for more than four hours?

You're complaining about ~10% price difference? Petty much? You don't pay sales tax in Alberta, so that's probably only a ~4% difference in practical terms. Geez!

I'd rather see Alberta go. Seriously, why don't you all just move back to Texas where you belong!

Just based on the Athabaska tar sands, I would say you should seriously reconsider your position there.

Well, I did ask him to move back to Texas. I'm not sure that it's feasible to take the land with him.

And shipping to/from England is several times more expensive than shipping to/from Singapore (and this is from the east coast of the US). My theory is that the unions bump the prices of stuff up in Europe.
