Great Apple Customer Service Experience

Last night I ordered a refurbished black Macbook. The price was listed at $1299. Today after the release of the new Macbooks and Macbook Pros the price dropped $250. I called Apple to see what they could do for me. The first Customer Service rep did a bit of checking and said that since the Macbook was a refurb that it was not eligible for price protection. She offered to setup a return and reorder with the new price. I told her that I'd call back in a bit. I pulled out my credit card to call their Customer Service Dept. to see if they could offer me price protection. Remembering how much of a pain it was to dispute a double charge from a restaurant I decided to call Apple back to setup the return and reorder. The new rep I got checked again and told me that I was eligible and took care of me right away. I'm quite stoked about this. Rock On Apple!
