Only user that mounts AFP drive can access it?

Hi all,

I would like to ask you if you know how to let every user in the computer access a mounted AFP drive.

I am having the problem that if any user mounts an AFP network drive (even if he mounts it as guest) it goes to /Volume/Network_Drive and the other users can't access it!

It doesn't matter if it appears from "ls -l" that the drive has all read/write/execute permissions, no other user but the user that mounted the drive can write anything to it :-( !!

How do I go about fixing this problem?

Thanks

What is your device you are trying to access? When I was at the school paper, we all had Macs as editors at the office, from a bondi blue G3, to a Dualie 400, to my AL PowerBook 1Ghz, all the machines hooked into the Dual 400 running 10.3. We had 4 systems hooked into that thing without issue, even mounted as a startup item on boot so no one had to fiddle with it. Whatever your "host" device is can't or isn't setup to negotiate more than 1 connection at a time.

did you try SMB to see if you could login more than 1 machine at a time?
