Anyone cares to send me 10.1??

If anyone is kind enough to send me a copy of 10.1 can please write their e-mail address so that I can give my home address???

P.S OSX is good but 10.0.4 on my machine is pain in the @$$.

    Assuming you have broadband, get Limewire and search in that. I've had great luck pirating software with gtk-gnutella, an equivalent program.

    I found the same but I bought the 10.1 upgrade.

    Why? Maybe he didn't have a chance to get the FREE update and he doesn't wanna spend money on something that's FREE?

    You are so right EmAn.I bought a long time ago OSX.I didn't bother to install it cause all the problems I heard.So I waited for the updates.I didn't check regularly for the updates so before I know it we're on 10.1.3 and to my dissapointment I can't upgrade.

    It's not something illegal.It was a free upgrade and I definetely am not going to pay twice for the same OS.

    I installed limewire but it wasn't very helpful on the 10.1 department.

    So any help?

    If you have the reciept, or any type of proof that you purchased OS 10 you can go get it at an apple retailer for FREE, Nothing Nada.

    Go to an Apple store, or CompUSA, and pick on up on disc.

    Sorry, I didn't read the thread more closley. No one has it? I would make some calls. I'll bet there are a few left out there. You can probably still get it.

    I grabbed an upgrade CD from a CompUSA in Atlanta about a month and a half ago. They had an awful lot of them too...

    i just went to my local CompUSA less than a week ago. they don't have the 10.1 updates out on the floor anymore, but they still have them.



    just ask someone and they'll let you have a copy. i picked up 4.

    Try the CompUSA where he got his month ago via Phone, and fax them a photocopy of your reciept, or any proof that you have.

    If you don't want to try that go to Apples discussions board, and post the same thing, and wait for a Mod there to give you an answer. I'd say Apple would probably send you a FREE copy, but you'll still have to pay for the shipping charges.

    Who knows?

    I guess that the apple forums is a good idea.I live in Greece and the greek retailer of apple is not so helpful.Not to mention the stores that have apple products.
