WWDC to launch much improved OSX?

Sorry no link or special information. I just have the feeling that OSX will have undergone some "Major" updates by WWDC. It's been quite a while since we've seen anything substantial. I'm hoping for a slew of changes that will increase the useability even more. Additional speed would be helpful( I don't run OSX yet but speed never hurts). Do you think OSX will be overhauled?

    I got an e-mail today from Apple Developer Connection and it looks like we're gonna see OS 10.2 or at least a preview at WWDC.
