Can you boost the volume of a movie in Quicktime?

I am watching a movie in Quicktime, and it is really soft. I hve the volume turned all the way up but it is still much quieter than it should be.



Anyway of boosting the levels??

    Yes, you can.



    Window->Show Movie Properties (command-J)



    Audio Settings tab.



    Adjust the db. But you'll probably get a lot of distortion.

    Also, shift-clicking the volume slider used to bring additional sound levels.
