16GB iPhone out of stock?

I have been wanting to go to an Apple store in either Michigan or Buffalo NY as both those states border Ontario. However each week that I call they indicate they are out of stock. Is this the case for all Apple stores or just the ones that border Canada? Maybe to many fellow Canadians are scooping them up?

    A relative in California with two Apple stores very handy finally gave up and ordered the 16GB iPhone on line. They were always out of stock. So at least you know it isn't only near the Canadian border, if that experience is a guide.

    I finally found a store in Michigan that has them but they are limiting one per customer. I had four other people that wanted them and would cover my gas money for the three hour trip!
