I custom built my own pc a year ago and just recently upgraded the processor to a 2.4Ghz quad core. I am buying a Macbook because I am moving back to my parents and have no where to set up my pc. I want to get a Mac Pro sometime when I move out of my parents but was wondering if I should sell my pc computer now to get the most money out of it. What do you guys think I can get for it. Specs are listed below.

Processor- 2.4ghz quad core

memory- 2gb

hard drive- two 320gb western digital hard drives

dvd-rom drive

dvd burner

Nvdia GeForce 8800 GTS (640mb (I believe))

thermaltake case Kandoff

Creative X-Fi sound card

Let me know what you guys think I could get for it. I know this is a apple forum but just want an opinion. thanks.

Technology only depreciates in value so the longer you hold on to it, the less you'll get for it. I would advise selling your computer in pieces... you can usually get more by the part than all of it outright but it will take longer to piece out.

Eh... building it out of brand new parts that PC would cost about a grand. As used... maybe $600. Might get more parting it out, although that would be more work.
