Time Machine Woes
I have been using Time Machine with a USB drive no problem. Now I want to use it when it is attached to my AirportExtreme. So I plugged it in and the drive shows up fine - I can attach to it via Finder, and Tme Machine even runs. But every backup fails with insufficient space. Says I need 201GB and only have 110GB. So for some reason, it is trying to re-backup everything. The backup delta should be very small as I had just backed up.
I think my problem is caused because I stupidly changed my computer name right before moving it to the airport extreme. (I changed the name for an unrelated thing).
Now even when I connect the USB drive directly, it still fails to backup.
Is there a known issue with TimeMachine and changing the computer name?
I cannot remember the exact name I had before...I could try to guess at it...
