I read somewhere that memtest can be used to test the memory of your mac. I tried it and it didn't even know what memtest was. Is there a way to test the memory in the unix shell?

Thanks to whoever answers...

There is an app called MemTest which once installed can be used only from the command line as far as I am aware.

So, how would I install it? Is it in the installer or debug part of the install disk?
