Meant to accurately model the Aqua interface. Made using a Mac too
Will Apple shut it down again?
Edit: There are so many Aqua-style themes over there. Too bad; nice dress doesn't mean good solid gguts.

<strong>my little brother had dowloaded the previous windows OS X theme (my father wont buy him a mac) and was so disappointed and called me up to say, "hey, where's the bar on the bottom?!" referring to the dock. he must have thought his PoC was going to magically transform into a mac...hahahahahaha! what a sucker! (ok, he's just a kid, but still...)
Why won't your dad buy him a Mac?

cuz my dad's a product of microsoft brainwashing.
aside from the hardware, there's the software issue. my dad thinks he will never be able to get "borrowed" software for his mac. i have at least 20x more programs for my mac than he has for his PC, and i could have given him whatever he wanted (like he would even know what to do with them, lol!). but then again, logic is irrevelant when you've been brainwashed by our dear friend mr gates.
my brother comes over and uses my mac and has used them in school also. he can actually figure out stuff much better than my dad can. i dont think it's fair that he has to be forced to use a PC. if i could afford it, i'd buy him an imac.
sorry for the long answer...
cuz my dad's a product of microsoft brainwashing. he's "afraid" of macs cuz he's never used one and he thinks he wont know how to use it or fix it. mind you, he doesnt even know how to use his PC. all he ever did was play solitaire. only last week did he learn how to launch IE and enter in a web address. then i taught him how to search the internet using google. hahahaha! some expert he is! if he had a mac, he'd be making imovies of his kids like everyone else's dad.

well, you can build your own help program. I built one for my parents. No code required. here's how:
1. make a duplicate of the stickies app
2. get a custom icon for it that will say to your dad "go here if you get lost"
3. apply icon to duplicate
4. place copy in the dock
5. open
6. make stickies that tell how to connect to the internet, check mail, look at photos, etc.
7. label the copy something like "Help"
now, when your dad needs help, he just clicks on the icon!

thats a good suggestion...but i think my dad need a mental help button. LOL!!!
serioudsly, he just wont buy a mac no matter what. my brother's been crying for years. everytime my dad feels guilty, he goes and out gets a PC for my brother (he just got a P4 1.4 Ghz 2 weeks ago). and got him DSL too. I dont know how to dispell his mac phobia, other than by maybe letting him borrow my imac for 6 months or so until he sees its not "an evil machine" or whatever he thinks it is. but i think such fears are common among PC users, and that apple needs to address them better if they are going to expand their market share.
p.s. i'll use your suggestions when my dad comes over and maybe teach him to use my imac (which he wil rarely even touch).
My main computer is still my DP G4.
