Remote Surveillance?
Ciao all,
I want to buy a 'webcam' that I can set up in my apartment and that is totally autonomous, wifi, can be controlled from internet, and has audio as well.
I bought one a few years ago but was totally crap and ater a firmware upgrade, just died.
I don't want to set it up with a MacMini or anything like that
I found one from D-Link: http://www.dlink.com/products/?sec=1&pid=411 But the reviews are chilling.
The Panasonic "pet surveillance cameras" seem to fit the bill http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-e...00000000005702

Does anyone else have experience with such products? I leave home a lot and I want to keep a tab every now and then. It would be nice if it could automatically send me a message if it detects motion...
