I'm looking at investing in a new iMac but am being thrifty and looking for any discounts that might be out there. Any advice?

    Best Buy has the previous version discounted. You can get a brand new 24" for $1499.

    The refurbs at Apple's online store are priced well too. You can get a 24" 2.8Ghz model for $1599, an Alum 24" 2.4Ghz for $1399. The white iMacs are even cheaper. They are fully QA'ed and tested and you get the fully warranty. The BestBuy units mentioned in the previous post are also good deals and they are brand new.



    I bought a refurb MPB a year ago and it has been perfect.
