In referring to monitors, what is the difference between 'contrast' and 'dynamic' ratios. I see contrast ratios about 1000:1 and dynamic ratios 00000000:1. Which is more important?
True contrast ratio IMO is more important, but you got to check things out yourself, see how the screen looks in light and dark. Some panels with a lot of dynamic contrast tend to blow out the contrast and colours too much, sometimes, artificially so.

Wiki gave me statistics but didn't really answer my question. You did. Thanks.
