Jaguar and the need (or not) for dual processors.

Will Quartz Extreme make having dual processor machines less important as it will speed up OSX?

    Dual processors will provide more of a boast in Jaguar because both processors will be able to work on application tasks instead of drawing the GUI. Quartz Express will off-load the drawing of the GUI to the graphics card and therefore the processors will be free to do more meaningful work for you.
