Disabling Entourage

Is there an easy way to uninstall Entourage? I don't use it, and whenever I am around an email address in Windows or Excel, I get "shanghaied" to Entourage.

    Open Apple's Mail application > preferences > general and set the default email reader. Of course, then you'll be sent to whatever app you change it to.
