What part of town are you staying in? I'd recommend taking the circle line cruise around Manhattan. It's a cool way to see the city.

I went to NYC last June, and though I didn't leave Manhattan, there's more then enough there to entertain you for a while.

Times Square is nice to see at night, if you don't mind the crowd. Not really worth it during the day, but if you want to, there's a few things to do around there.

Go see a broadway show. One of the best performances on earth, in my opinion.

The Empire State Building isn't really worth the wait, but if you can bear it, it provides a great view of the city.

Rockefeller Center is pretty cool if you can get a tour.

I'm sure some locals or people who live closer to NYC can point out more places.

    Have fun!
