Hi.

Which graphics card for the new harpertown Mac Pro is compatible with Apple's DVI->RCA convertor ?

The link obviously lists the ATI X1900 XT, but this is not available for the new Mac Pro.

Id there any way to use a projection big screen TV (RCA inputs) with the new Mac Pro Harpertown ?

Especially with the NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT ?

Or is saving some $$ for a 720p large LCD my only real cheap big screen option ?

Thanks for any answers/suggestions.

I'd imagine any would be, since it's pulling the analog signal from the port, and all of the cards apple uses can export that. If you want a first hand test on a GF8800 I can report back in a few days :;shrugs::

    Thank you!

It is actually what has been delaying my purchase!

Want to use it w/ big screen, and don't want to buy a new 46" LCD.

Willing to suffer the 15.625 Khz noise for now.

8800GT is the one I was hoping to get.

    Thanks again.

I'd like to place an order today for a new Mac Pro w/ 8800GT + new32GB iPhone. I'm curious to know if I can use the MacPro with a RCA video connection convertor?
