iphone 3G & BBC Radio Player/ online streaming

I think the BBC Radio player uses Real Player for it's radio archive. It works on my MB Pro after I installed Real Player for Mac.



Will the iphone 3G be able to stream audio from the BBC or other online streaming stations such as Car Talk, Pandora etc.



Will the 3G connection be able to stream audio or video in real time. The company I work for banned streaming & I want to keep up with the muci & news from the UK.

    Some of the live stuff is available in windows media format too... you can't listen to either natively on the iphone, but you can use a 3rd party streaming server (like ooTunes) to transcode it on the fly and listen to it on your iphone.



    Edit: Also, pandora and most npr stations work as well.

    The allRadio/VisuaRadio app from the app store seems to work quite well for streaming radio stations. It has loads of stations to choose from
