Change default selection in delete confirmation window ?

We've just moved to Leopard on our work machines and when I delete files now the default selected box is 'Cancel' instead of 'Delete'. Is there any way I can swap the preference for this as I am so used to just hitting command/delete followed by enter to quickly move on, and now this action just cancels my delete

Forgot about force-delete (cmd/alt-del).

When you say "delete" do you mean empty trash or move to trash? You can always disable the confirmation to empty the trash.
