Does upgrading to the new firmware lock a previously unlocked iphone? I'm not talking about a jailbroken iphone but an unlocked on only.

    Let's just say that upgrading the firmware and jailbreaking are incompatible.

    Whatever your lock/unlock etc... You will notice it has to do with a certain firmware version. You must pay attention to this if you don't want to brick your iPhone, violate the warranty, and be up the creek without an iPhone...
