iPod Syncing Items It Shouldn't

Hi all.

When I sync up my iPod, it spends loads of time syncing up podcasts that I do not have it set to sync. This is a real PITA when I'm in a rush and it's busy syncing up a TED talk or something else that's large.

Any idea why this is happening? The only thing I can think of that might be affecting it is that I sync my iPod with my mac at home but use it in manual mode at work.

Do you have TEDTalks in a Playlist that syncs to the iPod?

iTunes will sync the entire playlist even if it includes media that would otherwise be skipped.

edit: Check for a recently added playlist.

    Glad I could help.

BTW, I just had this problem with a very large, multiple disk audiobook. I set the genre to one that I was syncing to my Nano. It overflowed the Nano until I discovered the problem.
