I am currently able to get one of the first Minis that were available, the 1.25 GHz PPC version, for a very good price. Since its processor is currently very outdated and old, would it be possible to upgrade it to a Intel processor? Would would be need to do this? An Intel compatible motherboard? Links to tutorials would also be of help. Thanks for your help

I doubt that the cost of the new CPU+motherboard+hassle installing it would be better than just selling the G4 on ebay and buying a new or used Intel Mini. It wouldn't work anyway as the cases are designed differently - the Intel Mini has 4 USB ports for example.

I'd say it's not worth the effort. The logic board is over $300 plus any other extra pieces you might need.
