Yahoo Voice on the mac is AWESOME!!!
I just downloaded the new Yahoo 3.0 for the mac with the VOiP feature, and it is AWESOME.
I downloaded a phone number and for 1 penny a minute can call practically anywhere. And for $2.49 a month, I can recieve calls too.
I am about to get an ipod touch...and was wondering if anyone knows if it is compatible with yahoo voice? I know the touch doesn't have a mic...but perhaps there is a way around this with a headset? Just wondering.
Even if you can't talk...can you use yahoo instant messenger and check voicemails? I know the app store opens soon...yahoo should definitely do something about this if not.

Is the bandwidth usage more than Skype?
I dunno. I've never used Skype. But I've had a Yahoo account forever...and they integrate IM, video and audio so well. It's really a great intuitive layout.
Yahoo's rates for computer to phone are alot cheaper than Skype.
