Pay as you go iphone QUESTION....
I was thrilled to read that AT&T will offer a pay as you go iphone soon. Yeah, it'll be more expensive, but I travel ALOT and have been holding off buying an iphone until a pay as u go plan came out. I want the flexibility and I don't want to be locked into a 2 year contract and want the flexibility of not paying for service if I am going to be travelling overseas and not using the phone.
ANYWAY....suppose you are on a pay as u go plan and let it lapse because you will be travelling overseas for a couple of months. Since it's a paygo plan you can, but my question is WILL YOU STILL HAVE WIFI ACCESS?
That'd be cool to be able to still have a functioning wifi/ipod while travelling.
And come to think of it, if its a pay as u go plan, and you CHOOSE to NOT pay for service....couldn't you just use the wifi to sign onto YAHOO VOICE and make calls for a FRACTION of the rate yahoo charges?
