Media Center/Time machine accessing Windows
Hi, I currently don't have a Mac but I will be purchasing a Macbook pro in the future. I would like to know if Front Row or any other Media Extender software for OS X will be able to access files on a Windows Home Server or Vista Ultimate set up. I have the option for both and would also like to know if anyone has any opinions on either. I'm not going to buy a new PC or Server, I'm just going to install the software and configure it on my old PC that I currently use. I'm gonna set it up, plug it in, and throw it in my closet. It won't even have a monitor attached to it, I'll just remotely access it. Also, will Time machine be able to work with this at all? Just curious.
