Send Free Text Message From Iphone?

(good link below) Can someone with an iPhone try this Google service that allows free text messages? I guess if you were a heavy texter, you'd simply pay at&t for it, but for those that don't use it much - this could be a good alternative. Can you comment on the pros/cons?

    That link above doesn't work for me but when I get to the exact same URL but from a link in the google search "google send sms" it works.

    That other link I posted works from the iPhone. The message come from google so if you use it then you'd have to sign it I guess.
