VOiP on the new 3G iphone?

They say the 3G iphone will also be offered with a "pay as you go" option with NO contract.



IF this be true...couldn't you just not sign up and just use Yahoo Voice or Skype instead over wifi?

    It would be better to get an ipod touch, and cheaper - the contract-free iphone is $600.

    In my office I'm out of the cell signal but, as soon as I get 802.1x logon, I'll have IP access. Then VoIP would be a god send. I could use my skype money.
